The Locals Project, organized the beginning of last year, has dedicated themselves to bringing some of the most talented and passionate artists from our local area codes. Focusing on NYC, Boston, Philly and CT; the locals project is eager to remind electronic music lovers that you don’t have to search very far for good music and great parties.

Their first party was in July 2014, bringing in artists from CT, NYC, NJ and Boston and was the home to some serious trance including deep progressive, melodic vocals and even getting serious in the later hours with a impressive dose of dark and dirty 140 BPM madness. Each and every artist on the line-up was fabulous and from that point on they knew that they had to offer more events. Round Two was their techno show, held in the basement at Santos Party House in lower Manhattan. Again, the team brought in home grown talent from zip codes including NY, NJ, CT and Philly. From there TLP hosted Round Three which dipped into the house and tech-trance genres, bringing in more artists from NYC, NJ and Boston.

Now, The Locals Project is at it again, with their fourth installment of events- this time with a little twist. A Back 2 Back Series. For anyone who is unfamiliar with Back 2 Back (or as some refer to as Versus sets), this is something that is not to be missed. For this first event in the series TLP brings in NYC based Daniel Sea vs NJ based Cero. Both known for their massive ability to draw the crowd with their trance and tech-trance styles. Many have seen Daniel Sea on stages such as the main room at Slake and in Webster Hall, and more recently at Pacha NYC and even at Cielo. His recent production work includes a highly acclaimed collaboration with another NYC based powerhouse- Static & Bass, entitled “Flashback” which will be available on January 19th. Cero on the other hand, is no stranger to many of the same massive stages, having recently been seen by a full crowd as he played at Pacha in NYC. Cero comes back to join TLP for a second round, after playing their last event at Santos Party House resulting in some phenomenal crowd approval.

After Sea and Cero finish up, Monoverse and Mir Omar will take the stage, and this one promises to be quite the treat. Monoverse is well known for many things, if not his very successful internationally streaming podcast on AfterHours FM, its for his multiple track productions and remixes released on labels such as Enhanced Recordings, Infrasonic Recordings, Alter Ego Records, and other imprints.  He recently claimed not one but two spots on Armin van Buuren’s ASOT End of Year Mix, and shared the stage at Hammerstein Ballroom with Sied van Riel for FSOE 350 in NYC. The talent for the team is not held only by Monoverse; his partner in crime for this event, Mir Omar, comes fresh off of some of NYC’s hottest and most popular stages including Output, Cielo and Pacha NYC. In addition to local massive stages, Mr Omar recently took trip over to California to play at Electric Fairy Tale festival, which was home to names such as Ben Nicky, George Acosta and Indencent Noise. Omar also has a monthly podcast, hosted on which has proven to gain new listeners with each and every airing.

As if the fact that this event is riddled with some of NYC’s top talent isnt enough, TLP is holding true to their promise of providing free parties for new fans. In an effort to help draw as many new fans and keep growing the home grown crowd, The Locals Project has kept all their events 100% free, including January 17th’s.
